Rahmatan Lil Alamin Foundation (RLAF) is a reputable registered charity organization with a strong affiliation with the Islamic Religious Council of Singapore (Muis). Embodying the ethos of Prophet Muhammad s.a.w of radiating mercy to the universe, RLAF embarked on various humanitarian and community projects locally and overseas by helping those in need of help and support.
The foundation's initiatives extend beyond monetary aid, encompassing material relief assistance, emergency food aid, relief coordination, and support services aimed at rebuilding shattered lives. One of the most notable RLAF initiatives is the collection of Gaza humanitarian appeals. In the aftermath of Israel’s bombardment of Gaza since October 2023, RLAF supported UNRWA by collecting funds for the people of Gaza. RLAF managed to collect SGD 8.1 million in 2023. The amount collected was handed over to UNRWA, with the second tranche of the fundraising appeal handed over on 18 March 2024, witnessed by Singapore’s Minister for Foreign Affairs, at Jordon. Recently, RLAF in partnership with UNICEF also launched Ramadan Appeal for Gaza to provide aid in the form of health, relief and shelter for children and their families affected by Israel’s attack in the Gaza Strip.
